Dry acrylic just as it gets tacky to give it much more texture than ones I did earlier with block printing colour. (I'll blog those at some point soon...)

Lino plates

Cutting lino is kinda therapeutic. Except for the bit where you slip and cut your hands... But. Lots more made so very nearly finished my easton ellis project for good (kinda sad, I'm liking the printmaking diy stylee, who needs a press when you have feet or a spoon!) Adds to the texture this way.

Design idea as it stands, might change, but this is the current direction of the type, colour, and motif style imaging.

Oh and I just started reading this...

I bought it because, well, number one I absolutely love the cover. Faber you did good! And secondly, because I fancied a bit of light reading. Here I fall down, light it is not, but it is promising to actually be a very good book. Surprised is one word for me, but apparently this actory type is just a little bit educated and, well, in no way untalented at putting words on a page.

Illustration I'm working on...

Another experiment for my bret easton ellis inspired stuff. I like it, but is it too violent? I'm losing perspective on my work right now and need to take a step back to evaluate and pick a path to follow in visual terms. All I'm certain of is I want to use red. Lots and lots of red.
