At the hospital (lgi) in leeds yesterday post horrific afternoon, in that new jubilee bit, I found a rather serene roof garden. Downfall being you can't smoke on hospital grounds. Lovely view none the less...

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

New books. Lovely pretty beautiful new books. And 50% of the profits from the Edith Wharton (yup that's my surname too...) go towards the product(red) aids charity. See. Beautifully designed books, typography, illustration. It really can save lives. Especially when mugs like me in a rather manic mood stumble into waterstones with a credit card in the jeans pocket... And the other one. Well. It's a roughcut penguin classic deluxe edition. My favourite new collection of books. This one's illustrated by Lilli Carre, with an accent on the e. And type design by Paul Buckley. Oh yeah. The product red book's by Nathan Burton, who I am now definitely a fan of.

Eye like a fish and other stories...





A while back now i went to Berlin. And apparently i took a whole array of cameras with me. And took lots of reels of film which i developed. But you know, printing them all in a darkroom.... Expensive! So away they went to the land of i've forgotten about you... Until now. I recently saved up and got myself a scanner that can do film, slides, medium format and a whole host of other exciting things (if i ever bother to read the instructions). And so, i've come across lots of pictures i never knew i'd taken. Or at least that'd just faded away memory wise at least! So here's a few...
